Alice and I met in college in the dorms and then became housemates for 2 additional years. I’m truly blessed that our friendship continues to grow as we both live in the bay area and are hard working women.
Getting a makeover is a wonderful way to bring in the new year.
She wanted a natural look and wanted to try airbrushing. Her reaction was unforgettable. She loved the way the airbrushed makeup looked and felt.
Also, her hair was long, so curling it really gave her a voluminous look.
I had so much fun doing her makeover !!!

Shionda is a huge part of my life ! We met at ALCF (Abundant life christian fellowship) and we’re currently accountability partners. We’re going on our 4th year!
She’s been through thick and thin with me and even stood next to me on my wedding day.
And now I get the honor to stand next to her as her bridesmaid and as her makeup artist !
Shionda loves purple, so I paired the purple eyeshadow with a gray eyeshadow to contour her gorgeous eyes.
Ed is a LUCKY man !!!

As you can see, make up and I go waaaaay back {See photo below}.
I think this was my kindergarten or 1st grade graduation.
You know I had to look fabulous for my big day. So I popped on some blue eyeshadow on my lids and finished with some bright red lipstick.
By the way, this was my favorite strawberry dress to spin circles in.

Emily “Em” (a fellow physical therapist) and I met through our mutual friend Kim (she’s in a previous post of mine).
She’s super fit and such an inspiration. I wish I can do triathlons like her one day. She was even considering running a half marathon a week prior to her wedding. I’m glad her trusty bridesmaids talked her out of it. It would be pretty sad to sustain a sprain ankle or injury so close to the wedding day.
She wanted a natural smoky eye, airbrushed foundation and a natural lip. Also her lovely brown eyes are perfect for those luscious lashes. Her hair length is just enough to put up into a pony tail, so a back swept low do was attainable and just right to showcase her dangling earrings (not shown in these photos). You’ll have to wait until the wedding photos.
Good things comes to those who wait.
October is just around the corner and I know Em will make a stunning bride.

The weather was a perfect, the city was beautiful and the couple was heaven-sent. Tiffany and Mike, it was a honor to have been your makeup artist for the day. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat <3.
