“You are definitely missing out on this hidden jewel!! Charlene Wong, owner and make-up artist of Hello Pretty Me, did my make-up for my wedding and I will honestly say that I was blown away, highly impressed and extremely satisfied!! I don’t like a lot of make-up and am pretty sold on my make-up regimen, but I was amazed at how naturally beautiful Charlene made me look at my wedding. I’m always hesitant to go to make-up artists because I feel like, many times, their motto is the more the merrier and then you walk out of the place looking like a clown. Not so with Charlene! I was able to look my very best and still look like me. The make-up she uses is great as well. I had absolutely no problem with break-outs and my make-up was left on for over 24 hours as my husband and I left right after our wedding to catch a plane to our honeymoon destination. Her professionalism was fantastic. You can tell she takes her work very seriously, but at the same time is so much fun to work with. She works very hard to make sure that the client is pleased. She really takes the time to figure out what you want and what your ideal look is and then she works with you, given her knowledge and skills, to achieve that look. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars, but all I have to say is THANK YOU CHARLENE!!”

“I have combination skin, red spots, blemishes, random scars, blackheads, etc. with sensitive skin smacked on top of it all! But I had Charlene do my wedding make-up when I got married 2 years ago and she was absolutely God-send. She did a fantastic job, and also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids and my mom! I like how Char would explain how things work, and why she is using a certain product on my face before she puts it on. It proved to me that she knows what she’s doing and isn’t just using your face as some sort of science experiment. She is super clean and professional, and listens to what you want. She’s also super responsive to emails and phone calls, which definitely put my mind at ease when I was such a mess with wedding planning! During the time of my wedding, Char hadn’t gotten into airbrushing yet, but I had no problem at all with my make-up and it didn’t smudge or smear at all! Recently, I went back to Charlene to try airbrushing and it was amazing! Char did an awesome job once again applying everything carefully and evenly. If you’re looking for someone who knows what she’s doing when it comes to make-up, then I totally recommend this girl. Don’t go to the make-up counter the day of your engagement shoot or even wedding day if you’re hoping to look natural and not like a trannie! Char charges very reasonable prices and will make sure you look your best on your special day”.
